A new house for the headteacher and a purpose built science block, all sited within the grounds of a Grade II listed school.
This project involved the demolition and replacement of the head teacher’s house, together with the construction of a new science block, all within the grounds of a grade II listed school by CFA Voysey.
Severe space limitations imposed by restrictive covenants and the proximity of protected trees were overcome to produce a sensitive design which sits well within the existing landscape.
State of the art laboratories are now available to the students all within a setting in sympathy with the Voysey architecture on display.
