The renovation and extension of a dilapidated farmhouse in Clanfield.
Works included soft and hard landscaping, new oak framed external storage and garages for three cars, two and three storey extensions, external facelift, and a loft conversion.
The house at Highbank Farm was in a distressed state when we were asked to take a look. Our design added a number of extensions at ground floor and reorientated the staircase in order to create a spacious entrance hall and converted the loft to provide additional bedrooms.
Externally, the existing outer leaf of pebbledash masonry was removed entirely and replaced with a much more attractive local stone. The landscaped setting was much improved, demolishing existing structures to make way for new oak framed outbuildings and stepped terraces.
The result has been the creation of a beautiful family home with which the client was delighted. Our work on the project continues, with a new stable block planned for later in 2023.
‘It was a pleasure to work with Keith designing our new home. He took on our ideas and transformed our existing ugly property into a fantastic family home. It was a smooth process from planning to completion. I’d certainly recommend Keith and use his services again in the future.’
