The extension of an historic barn in the South Downs National Park
The project involved the creation of a new guest wing, comprising additional bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. The site was located in a sensitive area of the SDNP and the scheme, constructed in a style which complements the original building, was able to gain the support of the National Park Authority despite exceeding policy limits.
The client was delighted with the results and further works are planned.
‘Keith did a fantastic job on my extension. He arranged for the planning approvals, designed all the lay-out and architecture. Nothing was too much trouble, even some last minute changes after building had commenced. High standard of work throughout. TBH I don’t think he charges enough. I was so happy I paid him extra.’
